My Jack-O-Lanterns from Halloween.

I think we got 15 kids tops.  A group of 4 parents with 1 kid took a photo of my pumpkins.

I got a complement on my full circle cloak.

Are little kids always so darn shy?

Those pumpkins are extremely awesome of your!
As for kids being extremely shy, I think we all were at a point, because we're around "strangers giving out candy," plus, maybe you looked so good in the cloak, they were more shy than usual? Haha! Just mentioning an "awesome fact." :)

Awh, your kitty is so cute!

I'm not "in character" when passing out treats. I was chatting with a mom about how easy it is to make one. =)

FANTASTIC pumpkins! Fluffy kitty!

Yeah, Dave said we only had 25 kids where normally we have like over 100.

Those are some wicked, awesome rock'n'roll pumpkins! I love jack o'lanterns, but I'm usually more excited about roasting the seeds and cooking the flesh than I am about making them look good. But these are wonderful.

Kitteh looks like she's over the festivities...

I don't know if the big pumpkins are good for cooking. However, I do roast the seeds.

I soak them in salt water, then boil them, drain the water. Melt some butter, seasoning salt, and franks red hot and mix the boild seeds in that. Then bake until browned ina 450 degree oven.

I like the punkins—nice and scary! Weasley is looking very patient. Was this taken on Halloween night?

4th-Nov-2012 08:32 pm (UTC)
Yes, I had the camera out and Weasley was being lazy. =)

I love your pumpkins! Two very different characters, both awesome! My pumpkins always are at their best when they start to rot and their faces implode -- very scary =)

Here it is warm, teh pumpkins didn't make it to Nov 1st, they insides got a super fuzzy mold, and were tending to go rapidly to a liquid state.

Cute kitty, awesome pumpkins. LOL, its name is Weasley? So funny! I bet you DID have the best costume of the night! ;D

And kids can be soooo shy. I have had kids that I could barely pry off of my leg during school that would freeze up when they saw me in a store. Not all of them, but enough for me to NEVER assume that even the affectionate, attention-seeking kids might be able to cope with even an adult they know and love in a strange situation.

Gawww-geous. Especially the feline furball - my pumpkin was simple. I carved the symbol for pi in it ;)

Awesome pumpkins are awesome! Can imagine people want to take pics of them, I would too, that's some excellent carving.

The Weasley's looking relaxed :)

Wow! You're an artist! What beautiful pumpkins! And that cat is gorgeous! Yes, I think little ones really are quite shy when they are around folks they don't know.
