Today I finally ventured into Deviant  art.  My god, that site is messed up.  It wont advance to the next page and resets to my original.  I cant comment, none of the fields show up.  This is in both mozilla and IE.  WTF.

Regardless here is pics of cosplayers in the hall prior to the fashion show.

All pics are here so if you want to download orginal size you can.

Snape saved Harry Potter, now he's going to Disneyland.

here is the costume I thought was Honeyduke. Turns out it's Candyman??

Fantastic Rowena Ravenclaw

A Lockhart! (misti-con folks, this is Clay from the admin team)

A Tonks

A Dumbles

Fawks the phoenix.

Awesome boggart!Snape. Best-dead-animal I've seen. I'm impressed. He's really tall. Thyey did well with these movie reproduction costumes.

Pretty dresses. There was a whole group of disney princesses.

This "kiwi" is wearing a corset dress that has writing in sequins. It says. "It's real for us" and "After all this time? ALWAYS"

Back stage line up. Remeber I mentioned we were in the halls the house elves used. This is that hall.

Chris rankin (Percy from the movies) presented before the show. Here are pics from that presentation.

Snarkysneak on security duty.

Hang on a second! I recognise that gorgeous black witch with the floppy hat who's sitting down - that's ratherbsailing, surely!

No that's Yolanda. Sailing shows up at the ball, which is later.

Ah well. What can I say - except for "Also gorgeous!"

Wonderful costumes! I particularly like the sequinned corset dress and Fawkes.

Erm, yes. That was me, in most of the presentations that day ( I was listening and contributing too - actually I find it easier to do so when my hands are occupied). I seem to always end up doing last minute costuming at or on the way to cons - usually because I have been working my a*se off making decor (or in this case glass, on top of being ill for half my con prep time) instead, and while I think I do a reasonable job in a short amount of time, it's a little frustrating after planning something much more impressive for months! In this case, I was actually pretty happy at achieving a decorated half-circle skirt by hand in less than 24 hours, but also pretty happy that photos of the result aren't circulating, especially compared to these visions of awesomeness! UK 'chuck something together and have a laugh' just doesn't cut it amid such company...

Do you mind if I post a copy (credited, of course) when I get my con report up? Just for the shameful record...

here is the costume I thought was Honeyduke. Turns out it's Candyman??
And there I was assuming Cesar Flickerman from Hunger Games. Nicely done either way.

Seeing the House-Elf corridor is fun - from the front it looked as if you were all appearing by magic from some other dimension!

Hunger games went totally over my head, but a guy in a muggle blue suit was that ceasar character.

That photo is public domain. Go ahead and use. =D

So you were the victim of my drive by picture taking. On a whole, I cannot stand sewing at con. It makes me agitated. More power to you, and I know lost of peope do it, but I cant handle it. When i sew I am very very focused. Finally I really hate hand sewing, it wrecks my hands.

Yes took your advice and I don't go to DA anymore just to be safe. As for the pics lovely as always; I'll just include a few more fan posted ones for my next blog until I can sort what I got for future con pics blogs of my own. And nice Disney touch heh.

LOL! DA is better now. Apparently there are updates to the site and new java. I also had a load of files in there.
